The 24 inch length was exactly what I needed to replace a shorter post so my big guy can finally stretch all the way up. Both M8 holes lined up perfectly with the existing hardware, and the 5 inch diameter feels way sturdier than the thinner pole it replaced.

Swapped out a worn pole on my cat tower with this 24 inch one and the M8 screws lined right up at both ends. The sisal is tightly wound, so my cat's claws actually dig in instead of sliding off like the old one. Feels solid enough that I'm not worried about it wobbling when she launches off it.

The 5 inch diameter is way sturdier than the flimsy poles that came with my old tree, and my cat actually wraps both paws around it to scratch instead of tipping it. Both M8 holes lined up perfectly with the existing hardware, so it took maybe five minutes to install.
