Category: Tensioner
This is a floor-to-ceiling tensioner for cat trees from Cat Tree King with a sisal pole diameter of 8 inch. This is a spare component that you can reorder to replace a current cat tree component. You can buy all your cat tree components at Cat Tree King, your cat tree specialist!
Replacing just the worn 8 inch pole saved me from buying a whole new tree, and the beige matches the original perfectly. The tensioner screwed in tight against the ceiling with no wobble, even with two cats launching off it.
Sisal is way thicker than the flimsy wrapped posts I've had before, and the 8 inch diameter gives my big guy room to really dig in. Tensioner fit snug against the ceiling with no wobble, even when he launches off the top platform.
Replacing the worn pole on my cat tree was way easier than I expected — it screwed right into the existing base with no wobble at all. The sisal is tightly wound, so my two cats have been scratching it nonstop instead of the couch. Beige blends in fine with my living room too.
