The top resting spot is perfect for my Maine Coon to sprawl out and supervise the whole room, and she actually fits inside both levels without her tail sticking out. The premium pillows are thick enough that she hasn't tried dragging them out onto the floor, which is a first. Took her about two days
The pillows that come inside are genuinely plush, not those flimsy flat ones you usually get. My big boy can stretch out completely on the top perch and still have room to spare, and he's claimed the bottom barrel as his nap fortress.
Our 22-pound Maine Coon finally has a bed he can fully stretch out in, and the two pillows inside stay plush even after his daily kneading sessions. The top perch gives him a whole second spot to survey the living room, which honestly feels like buying two beds for the price of one.
