Swapped out a worn pole on my cat tower with this and the M8 screws lined up perfectly at both ends. The 5 inch diameter matches the original exactly, so my big guy still has plenty of room to stretch. Sisal feels tight and sturdy, no fraying so far.

The 8 inch length was exactly what I needed to replace a worn section on my cat tower. Both M8 holes lined up perfectly with the existing hardware, and the sisal is wrapped tight with no loose strands. My cat was back to scratching it within minutes.

The 5 inch diameter feels way sturdier than the flimsier poles I've replaced before, and my cat wraps both paws around it to stretch. Screwed right into the top of the old base in a couple minutes with the M8 holes.
